Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in parcel handling, logistics, or administrative dispatch operations.
- Experience with local and international courier services.
- Proven experience in tracking, record maintenance, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with logistics management systems or courier tracking tools is an advantage.
Responsibilities & Context
- Supervise and manage all parcel handling activities including receiving, sorting, packing, and dispatching.
- Coordinate with logistics partners, couriers, and internal departments to ensure timely parcel deliveries.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of incoming and outgoing parcels.
- Implement and monitor procedures for parcel safety, security, and accuracy.
- Allocate tasks and supervise parcel department staff to ensure productivity and performance.
- Resolve any delivery-related issues or customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of packaging materials and supplies.
- Monitor and control departmental KPIs such as delivery timelines, error rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
- Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly operational reports to higher management.
