Work with individuals, groups and parents to improve mental health of students.
Encourage students to discuss emotions and experiences in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Examine issues including substance abuse, bullying, anger management, depression, relationships, self-image, stress , anxiety and other issues.
Work with families for holistic wellbeing of students.
Evaluating possible problems through conversations, interviews, and observations to determine correct testing or examination.
Educating students on strategies and coping skills.
Help students define goals, plan action and gain insight
Develop therapeutic processes and treatment goals.
Take a holistic (mind and body) approach to mental health care.
Counsel families to help them understand problems, define goals, and develop realistic action plans.
Plan and organize seminars and workshops for students, teachers and parents.
Classroom observation of children with behavioral issues.
Taking Psychology Classes (AS and A Levels).
Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports
Write reports or evaluations.
Complete documentation required by programs or regulations.
Do any other work as assigned by the Principal and Vice Principal.
