Responsibilities & Context

GD Assist Limited a subsidiary of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited is looking for a registered A Graded Pharmacist for its newly formed retail pharmacy chain with an International Brand.

Providing information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
Dispensing medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists directly to customers.
Advising customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment, or healthcare supplies.
Validating prescription order entry (VP-1), properly labeling, and filling of medication orders (VP-2).
Ensuring compliance with FDA and manufacturer for Pharmacovigilance activities.
Initial information gathering regarding patient’s medication histories and communicating pertinent information to the physician to avoid any drug effects.
Verifying prescription’s authenticity.
Seeking clarification regarding prescription discrepancies when necessary.
In-case of drug related claims by patient, filling the Pharmacovigilance report accordingly.
Monitoring the patients total drug therapy for: Effectiveness, Side-effects, Toxicities, Allergic drug reactions, Drug interactions, Appropriate patient outcomes etc.
Preparing medications for intravenous administration (IV).
Assisting customers to use devices such as blood pressure or diabetes monitors.
Handling narcotic, psychotropic and controlled medicine.
Ensuring proper stock storage inside the store as per company protocol.
Checking day closing and cash transaction, maintaining cash handover register and ensuring cash handover to account.
Monitoring & Recording of Temperature of specific drugs in the Pharmacy as per guideline.
Arranging the stocks according to the category and agency.
Checking expiry manually including stock expiry on a monthly basis.
Conducting Perpetual stock taking on a monthly basis and making shortage entry in the register for the reorder of level.
Maintaining records, such as pharmacy files, inventories, registries of narcotics, or controlled drugs.
Taking care of issues related to the software.
Updating records of stocks received from the suppliers.
Management of short expiry medication. Communicating with the walk-in customers about the services & plans & take active part in promotional campaigns to promote customer care & loyalty programs as suggested by management.
