Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • University degree in HRM or Business Management with international exposure.
  • Certification/Coursework on Reward and Leadership Management.

    Investment/Merchant Banking, Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Tobacco

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience in different domains of HR in MNCs with heavy focus on working across international borders and global projects.
  • Good command on HRIS, Company Transformation Process, Acquisition Deals,Talent Management, HR Business Partnering, Total Rewards, Employee Engagement and Headcount Planning.

Responsibilities & Context

WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT – PURPOSE: This role involves supervising People & Culture department, managing employee relations, supporting development, enhancing job satisfaction, strategizing P&C initiatives aligned with business goals, forecasting staffing needs, managing risk, structuring benefits, maintaining records, overseeing budgets, and managing employment needs for all entities in Bangladesh (Market, GSC & GLT).

WHAT WILL YOU DO – RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, interpret and apply the strategic direction of the P&C function within the different entities (Market, GSC and GLT) in Bangladesh, with specific focus on Talent & Succession Management, Total Rewards, Employee Engagement and HR Administration.
  • Provide counsel to Leadership team and the Regional HR on the issues of human resources management, selection and recruitment, cultural change, and organizational development.
  • Provide guidelines and oversee management of human resources activities and resolve problems requiring senior management intervention.
  • Ensure P&C policies and practices are aligned with the company’s culture, strategy, objectives and standards and play a deliberate role in driving the business strategies, meet organizational needs and comply with local legislation.
  • Develop human resources budget and review status with each function on regular basis. In addition, incumbent shall also be responsible for overall general office administration & management.
