Job Description:
- Dispense medications accurately and provide information on their proper usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care through medication therapy management
- Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and monitor stock levels to ensure availability
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and hospital policies regarding pharmaceuticals
- Participate in patient education programs and provide counseling on medication usage and healthcare management
- Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy assistants and support staff
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical developments, new drugs, and treatment protocols
