- Valid Pharmacist License (B Grade) issued by the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council (mandatory)

Responsibilities & Context
Job Overview: American Wellness Center (AWC) is seeking a responsible, qualified, and licensed Pharmacist to ensure safe medication dispensing and support patient care. The ideal candidate must hold a valid pharmacy license and have sound knowledge of pharmaceutical practices in a healthcare or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispensed medications accurately in accordance with physicians’ prescriptions
- Maintain proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, light control)
- Verified prescriptions to ensure correct drug selection, dosage, and patient safety
- Maintained proper storage, labelling, and inventory control of pharmaceutical products
- Maintain stock registers for medicines, especially controlled drugs
- Monitored stock levels and tracked medication expiry dates to prevent shortages and wastage
- Assist in audits or inspections by the authority
- Prepare simple pharmaceutical preparations (e.g., ointments, syrups) where permitted
- Maintained accurate pharmacy records and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Counselled patients on proper medication usage, dosage instructions, and necessary precautions
- Ensured compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and pharmacy policies
- Coordinated effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals as required
- Maintained cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the pharmacy area
- Any other duties, responsibilities, or requirements as assigned by the supervisor or relevant authority
