Proficient Information Systems is looking for a talented and experienced PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. We are focused on delivering high-quality software solutions and are seeking someone who can contribute to our ongoing projects with creativity and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and UI/UX designers.

• Build and optimize scalable, high-performance applications.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.

• Ensure the quality of code through unit testing and adhering to coding standards.

• Manage database schemas and optimize queries (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in PHP development.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with the Laravel framework.

• Strong knowledge of MVC architecture and RESTful services.

• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Strong English proficiency—excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g. CodeIgniter).

• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React).

• Experience with Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
