Responsibilities & Context

Identify patients’ movement dysfunctions and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Provide comprehensive rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from surgery, injury, stroke, or chronic illnesses.
Educate and guide patients in the correct use of mobility aids (e.g., crutches, walkers, braces, wheelchairs).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, and progress documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated patient care.
Educate patients and their families about physiotherapy goals, home exercise programs, and preventive health measures.
Participate actively in departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development training sessions.
Stay updated with current physiotherapy practices, research, and advancements in treatment techniques.
Uphold professional conduct and maintain the hospital’s ethical standards and reputation.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the respective authority or management as required.
