Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager, Network – Post sales and Implementation is responsible for managing the post-sales deployment, installation, and implementation of network solutions at client sites. The role demands close coordination with clients, internal teams, and partners to ensure timely and efficient execution of network projects, including structured cabling, switching, routing, and enterprise network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the end-to-end implementation of network projects after successful sales closure.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendor teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Plan and oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, and structured cabling.
- Provide technical support during deployment, including troubleshooting and resolving connectivity or configuration issues.
- Ensure compliance with clients’ network security and performance requirements during implementation.
- Manage documentation including project plans, network diagrams, handover reports, and client sign-off sheets.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and challenges to the senior management.
- Provide training or walkthroughs to client IT teams upon completion of network deployments.
- Liaise with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery of project materials.
- Support pre-sales team when required by providing technical validation of proposed solutions.
