Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a dynamic and experience General Manager (Head of Operations) for a 100% Export Oriented Sweater Manufacturing Factory.
Job location will be Gazipur or Ashulia, Savar.
Directly report to the Managing Director.
Oversee all aspects of business operations and be responsible for driving business growth and profitability.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize business performance and achieve operational goals.
Ensure on-time shipment of all orders.
Ensure that inspection of the goods is done within a time frame from the shipment date.
Monitor hourly and daily production targets of all the orders so that initiatives can be taken regularly to avoid rejection or short shipment of any orders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and customers’ feedback to identify opportunities and inform business decisions.
Manage budgets and financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring expenses.
Train and develop a team of employees to ensure smooth operation of the business.
Develop and maintain a positive work culture, including fostering teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement in different departments.
Review and analyze operational reports and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Perform any other assignment as assigned by the Management.
