Requirements

Education

• The applicant must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture / Fisheries or Livestock/ GPB/HRT/AGR/CBT/PLP/ENT/EXT/SSC/SST, Fisheries/ Livestock with a minimum 2nd class/division or CGPA or equivalent result in all academic examinations

Experience

• At least 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Poultry, Fisheries, Livestock, Dairy

Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 40 years

• 2-3 years as Principal of any agricultural training institute will be privileged

Responsibilities & Context

• Collect and organize all courses and training materials, developing an effective plan for their simultaneous implementation;
• Maintain regular communication with BTEB authorities, Ministry of Education (MoE), and the Board members of BATI;Coordinate with instructors, teachers, controller of Examinations, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to ensure successful course delivery;
• Communicate with local stakeholders, including DAE members, Fisheries and Livestock Department, Upazila Education Officer (UEO), District Education Officer (DEO), UNO and surrounding communities;
• Management the annual budget, resource allocation, and financial sustainability of the institute, including fund management for training programs, infrastructure, and staff;
• Ensure the curriculum up-to-date, relevant to market demands, and aligned with the latest agriculture/ fisheries/livestock practices, technologies, and industry standards;
• Engage in outreaching activities, such as organizing seminars, workshops, and training programs, to promote the institute and offering course to the community;
• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
