  • Sound knowledge of trade finance, lending products, treasury operations and regulatory frameworks.

Additional Preferences

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CDCS or Banking Diplomas) will be considered an asset.
  • Exposure to structured finance, refinance schemes or sustainable finance initiatives..
  • Familiarity with Bangladesh Bank regulations, corporate banking practices and emerging sector trends.

Job Summary

  • As a Principal Officer-Emerging Corporate and Refinance, you will function as an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM), supporting Relationship Managers in managing and expanding the mid-corporate client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include delivering exceptional client service, conducting credit assessments, managing risk, and coordinating with internal departments to facilitate financial solutions aligned with client needs and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Assist in maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with mid-corporate clients.
  • Understand client business needs and offer tailored financial solutions across various banking products.
  • Address client queries and service requests, ensuring accurate documentation and prompt resolution.

Business Development & Portfolio Growth

  • Identify and support the acquisition of potential clients within the emerging corporate segment.
  • Contribute to preparing proposals, pitch decks and strategic financial offerings.
  • Monitor the portfolio for cross-selling opportunities in trade finance, treasury, cash management and investment solutions.

Credit & Risk Assessment

  • Collect and analyze financial statements, industry data and client business performance for credit assessment.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed credit proposals, risk analysis reports and due diligence.
  • Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory requirements and risk mitigation standards.

Loan Processing & Portfolio Monitoring

  • Collaborate with credit risk and operations teams to ensure timely loan processing and disbursement.
  • Track repayment performance, monitor delinquency trends and flag early warning indicators.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts and assess financial health and compliance.

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure thorough documentation of contracts, credit agreements and client instructions.
  • Maintain organized and audit-ready records of all client communications and transactions.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate reports and relevant documentation.
