Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and float tenders per project requirements, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to define tender specifications and scope.
  • Handle tender clarifications and amendments, ensuring all potential vendors have the information to submit accurate bids.
  • Analyze the bids received and prepare detailed comparative statements.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of the technical and commercial aspects of bids.
  • Organize and facilitate bid evaluation meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and enlist potential vendors to ensure a robust and competitive database.
  • Conduct vendor audits and assessments to ascertain their capabilities and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor records and performance evaluations.
  • Perform comprehensive due diligence on potential vendors, including financial stability, past performance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all due diligence activities are documented and maintained as per company procedures.
  • Prepare detailed techno-commercial comparative statements to aid in the decision-making process.
  • Ensure all technical and commercial evaluations are transparent, fair, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best possible terms and conditions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project teams, finance, and legal departments, to ensure seamless procurement processes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities and status to senior management.
  • Continuously monitor and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, cost savings, and quality.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting procurement activities.
