Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

NewVision Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a Japanese Multinational Company to lead foreign procurement, logistics, and inventory operations for construction projects, specializing in electrical, electronics, and mechanical components.

This role requires developing cost-optimized procurement strategies, managing global suppliers and LCs, conducting site visits, and ensuring timely material delivery while collaborating cross-functionally to meet project goals.

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in foreign procurement, specifically for electrical, electronics, and mechanical products used in construction projects.
• Minimum 3 years in a managerial role within the construction industry (construction experience preferred).
• Strong skills in negotiating with suppliers and managing relationships (both local and international).
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects carefully.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement, logistics, inventory, and imports for materials/services, ensuring cost-effective, timely delivery aligned with project timelines.
• Lead foreign procurement of electronics, electrical, and mechanical items for construction projects, including shipment coordination and LC management.
• Develop/execute supply chain strategies to reduce costs, optimize stock reliability, and improve delivery systems.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations, and negotiations; ensure compliance with regulations and long-term agreements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (finance, commercial, vendors, agencies) to drive continuous improvement and budgetary alignment.
• Visit project sites to understand inventory needs and daily operations.
