Summary

Education

Graduation in Fashion Designing, Apparel Merchandising, Textile Engineering or any other relevant field.

Experience

At least 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Buying House

Additional Requirements

Knowledge of Design, Fabric, Accessories, Sampling, Merchandising and Production process etc.
Good communication skill.
Good computer skill of working in Microsoft office & Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc.

Collect Mood Boards of Knit Fabric and Accessories for in-house collections from the Design Dept.
Ensure all sample development of Knit departments (Men’s, ladies & Kids).
Maintain communication with Designers, Category Heads, Supplier, factory merchandiser to ensure sample development.
Ensure taking Knit sample snapshots & prepare season wise Power Point Presentation for customer meeting within the stipulated time line.
Ensure fabric & trims sourcing from foreign & local supplier.
Prepare Knit fabric Library and Accessories Library based on the trend or mood board from design dept.
Arrange Measurement chart for developments with the help of our technical team.
Check samples with category heads, designers and technical concern.
Ensure sample development WIP chart update.Update Buyer selection & Confirm Orders chart.
Understand design from a technical perspective and guide the factory concern person accordingly.
Ensure factory visit for collecting Knit Fabrics, samples and follow-up the development progress.
Update development records on portal.
Any other task as assigned by the management.
