Requirements

Education

• Bachelors’ degree in Textile Engineering is preferred.

• Bachelors’ degree in any other discipline having required experience in Denim Garments Product Development are also encouraged to apply.

Experience

• At least 4 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

• Minimum 4 years working experience in Denim Garments Product Development.

• Must have sound knowledge & skills in Denim Garments Product Development.

• Should have very good sense of Denim Washing/Shades.

• PRO level communication skills in English.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and multitask

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Ability to interact with varying personalities

• Must have ability to present a professional and informative product and trend assortment to those both inside and outside the organization

• Proficient in MS Office and Google

• Knowledge of product development process and brand management

• Up-to-date with the latest Fashion trends and best practices

• Should have sound personality to lead the team as well as a good team member.

• Should have ability to accomplish the assigned work individually with creativity.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordination with buyers/marketing department and collect latest product designs, color scheme and fabric qualities those are going to be used in coming seasons

• Send request to pattern making department for developing patterns for new designs

• Prepare material requirement sheet and get sourcing done of required trims and accessories from local and imported suppliers

• Responsible for quality standards of sourced material

• Get approvals of Lab dips, Bit loom and strike offs directly from buyers or from buying office

• Value added processes like printing and embroidery work is get done if required in product

• Explains sampling master about the design and buyer’s requirement mentioned in spec sheet

• Coordinate with buyer/marketing team & sampling sections until the sample meets customer requirements.

• Do follow up with sampling section at the various stage of sampling accomplishment.

• Double Check finished sample and take approval from Team Leader/Management before sending the samples to the buyer

• Do the proper costing of developed products

• Maintain good relationship with trims vendors & suppliers to ensure timely supply of materials for product development.

• Maintain the chart of development & customer feedback on submitted development product.

• Any other works as assigned by management.
