Responsibilities & Context

• Conduct and develop pre-formulation studies and reformulate product formulations to enhance product quality.
• Identify and evaluate alternative sources for raw materials (APIs and excipients), including the preparation of raw material specifications.
• Perform analytical activities and prepare samples, recipes, and annexures for DTL submission.
• Manufacture product development (PD) and process scale-up batches, followed by technology transfer to production and QA.
• Prepare and maintain batch manufacturing records (BMRs), process validation protocols/reports, and support stability studies for shelf-life extension.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), manage departmental documentation, and ensure formulation compatibility with machinery.
• Prepare user requirement specifications (URS) for new equipment and schedule/manage ongoing stability studies.
