Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years
Additional Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
Experience:
- 2–5 years in production planning/coordination, preferably in a zipper factory.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of production planning and coordination in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with zipper or textile accessory manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
- Ability to handle pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, or production scheduling software is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze order sheets and develop production schedules in line with factory capacity and order priorities.
- Provide delivery commitments based on marketing team’s priorities and available production capacity.
- Prepare and distribute daily production schedules to relevant production sections.
- Coordinate production activities ensuring the availability of raw materials, manpower, and machinery.
- Identify and escalate production issues promptly to senior management to prevent or minimize delays.
- Communicate any schedule changes or delays to the marketing department in a timely manner.
- Regularly follow up on schedule execution with production managers and section supervisors.
- Maintain daily coordination with the marketing team to update and finalize order delivery schedules.
- Report key production issues to department heads and management promptly.
- Actively participate in weekly factory meetings to assess performance and identify gaps in the production and marketing alignment.
