Responsibilities & Context
- Solving any kind of production related issues raised by any section or department such as knitting, Linking, Quality, finishing etc. ensure smooth production.
- Review production planning/ target and follow up on the day-to-day production activities to ensure the production target and maximize the efficiency for the purpose of ensuring the closing of shipment/ order.
- Follow up on industrial and production engineering functions and advise the development of the process and system to comply with current requirements. Implement new technology or machine for the advertisement of the production line.
- Review production planning, material planning and machinery planning and conduct a effective meeting with the subordinate.
- Co-ordination with merchandising and planning team for future orders, present orders, present order status, and product costing to discuss the capacity and loading status of the factory. Ensuring smooth flow of information and material from one department to another. Resolving inter-departmental issues.
- Ensuring the factory to produces a quality product at minimum alteration and repair cost and only quality goods are shipped to buyers. Controlling overall quality issues like In Line, End Line, and AQL.
- control the factory expenses by reducing process costs, administrative costs, overtime etc.
- Arrange training programs to motivate employees and enrich their knowledge in certain areas. Ensuring worker’s personal and welfare activities to get the best performance from them.
- Maintaining the housekeeping of the assigned floor and ensuring all compliance related to labor law, Fire safety, and other applicable laws and guidelines prescribed by buyers.
- Follow up on recruitment to ensure that only the right personnel is employed at concerned production unit.
- Advice to the concerned person on controlling employee turnover, absenteeism, grievance etc.
- Establish output declared through AQL scanning and a problem-solving cult(highest ural through quality KPI (highest 3 defects analyzing, root cause identifying and need to work for the solution
