Context:
RRP Footwear and Leather Goods Private Limited is a leading player in the footwear industry, committed to producing high-quality products through efficient and innovative manufacturing processes. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our team and lead our production facility to new heights of excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee the administrative activities of the production facility to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
• Design and optimize the layout of the production floor for efficient production lines, from raw materials to packaged finished products.
• Standardize the production process and create SOPs for each product line, ensuring adherence during production.
• Lead product development and formalize step-by-step process parameters.
• Establish and enforce quality parameters to ensure high-quality products.
• Train the workforce in production processes, quality standards, safety, and hygiene requirements, maintaining these standards throughout operations.
• Enhance factory operations for improved efficiency and optimized production costs.
• Maintain production floor compliance standards for any buyer.
• Develop labor management strategies and build strong relationships with workers to boost productivity and timely delivery.
• Implement lean activities, time studies, motion studies, and other methods to increase productivity.
• Conduct daily 5S audits.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
