Production Manager

We are a renowned footwear manufacturing company committed to producing high-quality footwear in a 100% compliance factory. We are dedicated to ensuring ethical and sustainable practices in our operations. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team.

Production Planning & Control

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order schedules and capacity.
• Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion of all orders.
• Coordinate with the merchandising, materials, and planning departments to align production priorities.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to achieve efficiency.

Process Management

• Oversee all stages of shoe manufacturing (cutting, stitching, lasting, assembling, finishing, packing).
• Ensure each process follows the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure smooth workflow between departments to maintain continuous production flow.

Quality Assurance

• Work closely with the QA/QC team to maintain consistent product quality.
• Implement in-line inspection and ensure defect-free production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and take corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and factory quality policies.

Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise production supervisors, line leaders, and operators effectively.
• Provide training to improve workers’ technical skills and productivity.
• Motivate teams to meet production and quality goals.
• Promote safety, discipline, and teamwork within the production floor.

Material & Inventory Coordination

• Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Monitor material wastage and take actions to reduce loss.
• Review material consumption and maintain inventory control.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.
• Support internal and external compliance audits.

Reporting & Communication

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
• Communicate production progress, issues, and plans to senior management.
• Participate in management meetings to review performance and set improvement targets.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyse production data to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Suggest innovations for improving product quality, process flow, and cost reduction.
