Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure quality production and on time shipment as per plan
- Organize and oversee all production activities to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Collect the monthly production plan from the planning department.
- Closely work with IE team to improve production efficiency, manpower utilization, reduce bottleneck and NPT.
- Monitor plan VS actual production hourly basis and resolve any production issues to reach the target.
- Motivating operators to produce as per their production capacity.
- Train, motivate, and manage production staff to optimize their performance and foster a positive work environment.
- WIP (work in process) control and line balancing.
- Monitor daily/monthly Overtime budget and control/reduce the overtime work.
- Handle short volumes with maintaining quality.
- Minimize waste & increase utilization of Man, Machine & Materials with various tools & techniques.
- Candidate having experience working in IE Department will be given preference.
- Any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
