Responsibilities & Context
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Officer to oversee the manufacturing process in our knitting factory. The ideal candidate will ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily production activities in the knitting department.
- Monitor the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and customer demands.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of knitting machinery and equipment.
- Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., logistics, procurement) to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare production reports and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the production process promptly.
- Continuously work to improve production processes and reduce waste.
