Responsibilities & Context

EMS Apparels Ltd (100% export oriented Accessories & Knit garments Leed platinum Factory). One of the leading Company of Bangladesh, which is reached by Amfori BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, Oekotex 100, RSC etc. Certificates & many others CoC of Buyers. We are running 20 Sewing lines with 20 tons Knitting under the Green Environment by continuing the sustainability. EMS Apparels Ltd. is conducting a lot of CSR activities among the employees as well as social affairs.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Must have depth knowledge and understanding on Garments Trims, Accessories and Packaging item like Carton, Poly, Label, Hang tag, Photo Board, Back Board, Gum Tape, Elastic / Twill Tape, Drawstring, Button & current market portfolio.
  • Must be able to handle of all Accessories units independently.
  • Must have vast knowledge of costing against all kinds of garments accessories.
  • Strong ability to maintain & control supply chain of all garment’s accessories.
  • Good planning & ongoing communication with production department for high efficiency.
  • Prepare production plan, forecasting & determining production strategies as per plan.
  • Develop new client & product variation to ensure sales of product as per business plan.
  • Correspondence & negotiation with the prospective business partner as well as backend.
  • Sourcing for new buyers & Market to expand the business. Create new supplier and to maintain good business relation with the existing suppliers.
  • To make effective negotiation on costing with the buyer/ buyer’s liaison office(s) to take the order on premium thereby accelerate the business revenue.
  • Co-ordinate with production team in order to deliver on time shipment. Ensure on time supply of all Trims, Accessories & Packaging items.
  • To make effective negotiation of the changes in ship date and order qty. In addition to handles mode of shipment, complains, claim etc.
  • Follow-up of product development.
  • Co-ordinates between the departments of Customer service, Finance and Commercial, Supply Chain & PDD to ensure the LC or payment on time, Collect purchase orders, PI, Shipping Document. Attain and resolve all issues related to customer complain, quality and delivery.
  • Works for getting buyer nomination.
  • Candidate must have knowledge on procurement procedure, banking & commercial requirements of Trims, Accessories and Packaging.
  • Co-ordinate with marketing & merchandising team and follow up on Sample Developments, approval procedure, bulk order & delivery requirements.
  • Closely monitor and analyze market and competitive activity.
  • Meeting customers regularly and ensure them a satisfactory service even after delivery completed.
  • Able to establish new accessories unit.
  • To achieve target revenue daily/monthly.
