Education
Educational Requirements:
- Excellent academic records; a PhD degree is a must for the post of Associate Professor/Professor.
- At least two first classes required among which one must be in Hons. or Masters level.
- Additional qualifications will be given priority.
Experience Requirements:
- For the post of Associate Professor: At least 7 years teaching experience in the government approved University among which 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
- For the post of Professor: At least 12 years teaching experience in the government approved University among which 5 years as an Associate Professor.
Publication Requirements:
- For the post of Associate Professor: At least 5 articles among which 3 as an Assistant Professor in the Scopus/WoS/ISI indexed journals.
- For the post of Professor: At least 15 articles among which 7 as an Associate Professor in the Scopus/WoS/ISI indexed journals.
Additional Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, and adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
- Must have the fluency in OBE curriculum design and implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English.
- Experience of using initiative and creativity to resolve problems, identifying suitable solutions and opportunities for improvement.
- Flexible approach to work and positive response to changing requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and service areas.
