Responsibilities & Context

Professor/Associate Professor will be head of Department who will be responsible to Dean and Government in all respects.

Full administration of the Department regarding – (a) Posting of Asstt. Professors, Lecturers, Registrars, House Officers, Trainees and post-graduates in Orthopaedics in various operation theatres for administration of Orthopaedics (b) Making in emergency duty list from time to time. (c) Distribution of teaching work to the under – graduate and other trainees.

He should handle all official and non official correspondence.
Teaching and training of Post graduates in Orthopedics. Organised seminar and other activities in the Department.
Indenting the requirements of the Department like equipment, their maintenance, drugs and library, reference books and periodicals.
Research work.
Encourage and guide other staff concerned in their research work and help them in presenting their work in Annual conference.
To take proper care and treatment of patients.
