Additional Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience of Project Coordinator/Project Manager in Development Organizations-NGOs

  • Practical experience on project management, implementation, monitoring, supervision, reporting, documentation etc.

  • Good understanding on Project cycle, LFA, TOC, SDGs

  • Must have Computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet browsing and Bangla (Bijoy)

  • Experience on RMG sector and working with worker and trade union will be given preference

  • Ability to work with team and independently

  • Having sound written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Have time management, leadership, analytical ability, multitasking, facilitation; communication, presentation and report writing skills

  • Commitment and understanding of organizational aims, values, principles and policies

  • The position is based in Dhaka HQ with field visits in the project areas

Preferred Job Description/Responsibility

  • Project Management, developing work plan, follow up and monitoring project implementation process.

  • Developing project strategies, assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.

  • Ensure that the Project activities are properly delivered with maximum efficiency and professionalism to achieve the positive impact and goal of the project

  • Provide training, mentorship and guidance to project-based staff and ensure vision center management standards are in practice.

  • Prepare and ensure all program reports as per guideline

  • Organize and facilitate local and national level events including advocacy and assessment initiatives and ensure participation from relevant agencies and stakeholders.

  • Coordinating and ensuring the development of all visibility, awareness raising and advocacy material with the support of Program In charge.

  • Responsible for overall coordination, communication and network building with formal and informal sector stakeholders.

  • Ensure accountability of project implementation at all level.

  • Field visit to ensure implementation to achieve project objectives.

  • Keep Program In charge updated on all necessary and important project processes and issues.

  • Monitoring and reporting on project implementation progress (narrative) according to project/donor guidelines and regulations.

  • Field visit and communicate with field-based team members to ensure project activities are managed smoothly

  • Any other duties assigned by the management
