  • Pay field and local government office visit regularly driving motorcycle by own.
  • Android phone to be used for communication and photography on project-related activities.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

  • Center for Rural Service Society (CRSS)is a Non-Governmental Organization based in Barisal, Bangladesh. It deals with Community Engagement and Partnership plan Program throughout Wazirpur Upazila (Sub-district) under Barishal district in support of World Vision Bangladesh. This organization aims to ensure facilitation support and providing services to the children and women who come from a poor and underprivileged background that they are well protected with availing ample opportunity for their survival, growth, and development. Staff members appointed under the program, Program Manager is vital and potential posts.

Job Responsibilities

  • The Program Manager of CRSS-WVB provides leadership and managerial oversight for the administrative, programmatic, technical, research and operational aspects of the program in the Wazirpur Upazila area.
  • S/he will oversee the day-to-day implementation of the program and will be accountable for the quality of interventions and for the effective financial and operational management including financial and budgetary oversight, timely implementation of activities, and effective stakeholder relationship management.
  • S/he will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with CRSS Head office, World Vision Representative(s), local government authorities concerned and local NGOs, operating at the Upazila level.
  • The Program Manager is accountable for and responsible to oversee the development, implementation, and adherence of Monitoring and Evaluation systems put in place, work plans, technical program quality standards (including processes and procedures and reporting), and adherence to WVB for project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • To lead the project team to achieve the organizational vision, mission and program objectives.
  • To enhance the professional, spiritual and conceptual of project team members and ensure ongoing coaching for performance.
  • To ensure timely and proper implementation of plan, TP & CESP in line with CRSS policies and standards.
  • To ensure a high standard of stewardship in resource mobilization, allocation, utilization in compliance with CRSS Financial Policies and procedures.
  • To establish and strengthen the network with the donor, government, non-government organizations, CBOs, and Faith-Based Organizations.
  • To ensure an effective communication system that ensures the timely flow of information among the Project & Donor Office.
  • To build project staff capacity for their sustainability.
  • To enhance community-led & participatory monitoring for their development
  • To ensure monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and other program and financial reports are prepared and in placed and documented in time aligning with project planning & TP design as well as a donor requirement
  • To ensure 100% of volunteers, VDCs, partners, and CBO members are trained on WV & CRSS Partnership Vision, Mission, Core Values, CRC/CPP and facilitation.
