• Communication – Strong analytical and communication (spoken and written both Bengali & English), presentational skills, including the ability to summarize and clearly present complex issues, as well as to support a fruitful dialogue with the Government and Civil society, conducive to the implementation of the program. He/She has demonstrated skills in communicating with people from different backgrounds.
• Experienced Leader – Proven track record in program management, preferably within the development or climate change & disaster risk reduction sectors.

The Role

• As the Program Officer, you will drive the strategic development and implementation of our programs nationwide. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and other directors to set ambitious goals and scale our initiatives. Leading a diverse and talented team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality programs that create tangible evidence, knowledge products, and comprehensive reports for various stakeholders, including donors and government bodies. You will build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, donors, partners, and media, advocating for our mission and mobilizing resources effectively.
• As a key member of the Climate Change & Disaster Risk Reduction Sector of DAM, you will contribute to DAM’s strategic direction in Bangladesh. Upholding our value-based leadership guided by the policies and procedures of DAM, you will foster an inclusive workplace culture and lead by example in both program and team management.
