Requirements

Education

Master in any subject from any reputed university.

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 45 years

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in the NGO sector.
• Experience in the Health Sector will add extra value.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability, strong communication, report writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects. DAM Health and WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Program Officer for “Mayer Hashi General Hospital and Diagnostic Center” at Dhaka.

Job Responsibility:

• To develop the service packages, promotional materials building renovation as per requirement and maintain communication with stakeholders etc.
• Maintain overall Hospital’s two units’ responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory, regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable following the organization’s policy ;
• Planning for marketing and campaigns to enhance the publicity of the hospital and services;
• Coordinate with other service providers to establish functional linkages and referral systems;
• To maintain functional networking and liaison with the local stakeholders;
• Maintain and improve mechanisms for units activities, including surveying and measuring the operations, process, outcomes & profitability;
• Maintain effective communication with Senior Management of the Health Sector for any kind of significant information;
• To maintain quality service by following organization standards;
• Must abide by the Safeguarding Policy including PSHEA, Child Safeguarding, Gender, Anti-Harassment and Whistle Blowing policy, Code of Conduct and other policies of Dhaka Ahsania Mission consciously;
• To perform any other tasks from time to time given by the authority.
