Responsibilities & Context
Job Context
Sex Workers Network in partnership with Save the Children is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Program Officer under” Continuation and Scale-up of Prioritized HIV prevention and treatment services for key populations in Bangladesh (GC-7)” project.
ROLE PURPOSE:
- The job location of Program Office will be at the Sex Worker Networks project office, Dhaka and the position will provide leadership and management support to FSW interventions and also do performance monitoring
- The Program Officer shall act as the focal of the Program and also conduct different type of training, meeting and workshop. The program officer shall work in collaboration with the Executive Body of SWN and PR Save the Children –to ensure quality implementation of the program activities.
- The program officer will keep professional relationships with relevant stakeholders where appropriate and in doing District/local level advocacy and in performing the detection of lost to follow up cases
Reportable: The program officer position is directly reportable to President and General secretary of the Sex Worker Networks.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Oversee the implementation of The Global Fund Supported (GC-7) Female Sex Worker Intervention, managed by Sex Worker Networks Coordinate and facilitate to updates strategic plan of SWN with the support of SCI
- Coordinate and facilitate for arranging Election and General meetings of SWN
- Coordinate and facilitate to develop Gender policy, child protection policy, code of conduct and SOP on financial and procurement and update staff management policy and establish project M&E system with the support of SCI
- Keep collaboration with SCI, CBOs and other partners,
- Establish and maintain mutually respectful relationships with CBOs other GO/NGOs
- Facilitate timely and efficient delivery of programs. .
- Providing administrative oversight including ensuring awareness and adherence to all organizational/donor policies as applicable.
