Context and Responsibilities

Organization is inviting applications from skilled, proactive and interested individuals for a position of Programme Officer (Legal Aid).

Responsibilities:

Mobilize and organize women and girls in legal aid counselling sessions at village level.
Train paralegal volunteers in order to engage them gender-based violence reporting.
Communicate with panel lawyers in different districts in order to support survivors.
Communicate and contact with hospitals, police stations and administration for providing support to vulnerable groups.
Design, develop training module and deliver these to vulnerable communities.
Communicate stake holders, share reports, attend national and international workshop, seminar, press Conference.
Carry our any other duties assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
