Responsibilities & Context
Major Responsibilities
· Prepare work plan and take initiatives for implementing different activities. As per plan.
· Create awareness among students and community people about using of safe water, hygienic latrine and practice of safe hygienic behavior.
· Supervise installation of piped water supply, handwashing stations, water treatment plant and hygienic latrines in schools.
· Conduct different sessions on hygiene education in primary, secondary school and madrasah and cluster meeting with different groups of people regularly.
· Build linkage among mason, driller, hardware shops, schools and community people.
· Organize different forums, meeting, advocacy, training and workshop at Upazila level.
· Maintain liaison with local administration, local government and non-government officials at Upazila level.
· Prepare monthly report and sent to respective supervisor.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
· Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
· Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
· Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
