• At least (6 months-1 year) relevant experience working for NGOs/ INGOs.

- 60% Field visit required for the position holders.
- Fluency in Bengali and English.
- Knowledge of integrated development approaches, particularly in areas like education and sponsorship.

- Skills:
- •Strong project implementation skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of data collection tools and reporting methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Type of appointment: Regular under annual contract and is renewable subject to satisfactory performance.

Position Overview:
The Project Assistant at Muslim Hands International Bangladesh will support the implementation sponsorship and communication-related works, monitoring and evaluation of various humanitarian and development projects under the supervision of the Sponsorship and Communication Officer. The role involves coordinating with field teams, collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports and ensuring that projects are aligned with organizational goals and donor requirements. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to improving the welfare of vulnerable communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Design & Implementation:
- Support the Country Office in implementing orphan and sponsorship-related activities.
- Assist in beneficiary data collection, reporting, record-keeping and documentation.
- Strengthen stakeholder engagement including communication with schools and sponsored children.
- Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, workshops and project-related events, ensuring timely execution of planned activities.
- Provide programmatic and sponsorship support as assigned by the reporting supervisor.
- Support sponsorship MoU signing event, health check-ups, home visits and school visits of the orphan children.
- Manage and keep progress records of sponsorships and donations to support the education and well-being of orphaned and vulnerable children.
- Prepare and generate visit reports required by the authority and programme needs.
- Coordinate support services for orphan students, to ensure the essentials necessary for their education and well-being.
- Collaborate with local communities, field teams and partners to implement project activities.
- Assist to conduct feasibility studies for new interventions and liaise with the beneficiaries for programme implementation.
- Collect and compile required content, case studies, success stories and reports for funding affiliates.
- Assist in preparing narrative and statistical reports on the sponsorship program.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
