Requirements
Education
- Completed degree in psychology, social science or relevant field with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
- Professional chartered status in psychology, counselling and/or social work an advantage.
Additional Requirements
Experience Requirement:
- Experience in providing coordination supervision, coaching, and mentoring to national staff and non-specialists
- Experience in providing services to displaced populations, migrants, refugees or conflict affected populations
- Experience in managing and following up on larger teams in the field
- Experience and knowledge of UN and international agencies structures
- Experience in capacity building activities and curriculum development is an advantage
- Operational and field experience in health-related issues of migrated and/or displaced persons, programme development, migration health, including conceptualisation, analysis and implementation of programme, international public health and resource mobilization
- Previous experience in international organization is an advantage
- Skill in strengthening service delivery programs, performance and quality improvement and monitoring and evaluation
- Skills in identifying problems and presenting possible solutions to colleagues while taking into account cultural sensitivities
- Strong oral and written communication and presentations skills in English

Responsibilities & Context
- Coordinate, and monitor the work of MHPSS mobile field teams. This includes daily monitoring activities, organizing team meetings, addressing gaps and providing overall support.
- Provide administrative support to MHPSS component to ensure logistics and procedures to deliver services in the camps.
- Liaise and provide support to the Senior Project Assistant, especially with regards to weekly reporting mechanisms.
- Provide guidance to the MHPSS mobile teams in organizing and implementing community based MHPSS activities including community-initiated activities and discussion groups, ensuring a specific focus on women, girls, elderly and youth.
- Identify gaps and opportunities for MHPSS and assist in the development of interventions addressing the identified needs, this may include organizing refresher trainings as necessary.
- Provide regular reports to the MHPSS Officer on activities to date and indicators achieved in line with the Monitoring and Evaluation tools developed.
- Ensure maintenance of confidential documentation and records of all psychosocial activities implemented.
- Support the implementation of relevant trainings for the MHPSS mobile teams, humanitarian actors, key community members and others as relevant.
- Collaborate with other agencies on the ground and participate in meetings on behalf of IOM and in the interest of the beneficiaries.
- Coordinate safe custody of IOM items and equipment on the ground including maintaining an up-to-date inventory.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 96,687.92
