Experience in implementation of integrated project comprising Livelihood, food security, gender based economic development, climate change adaptation and institutional building will be given preference.
Responsibilities & Context
Bangla-German Sampreeti (BGS) a development organization implementing Integrated Development Programs in the different districts of Bangladesh with the financial support from different national & international donors. It invites application from the suitable & interested candidates for the following positions of its Livelihood Project (Three Years) in Tangail Sadar & Madhupur funded by Lichtbrücke e. V.
Working area: Madhupur & Tangail Sadar Upazila of Tangail District.
Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be the key and overall responsible person to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project and leading the project team through planning, implementation, supervision and monitoring of the project. S/he will ensure timely and qualitative reporting both programmatic and financial, while s/he will closely maintain close coordination and collaboration with the different stakeholders, local government offices and BGS central management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The project Coordinator will act as Head of the project at field level. S/he will be responsible person to lead the project with maintaining close coordination with Program Officer- Institution Building, Program Officer – Agriculture & Marketing and Accounts cum Admin Officer of both area (Tangail & Madhupur). The major responsibilities of the incumbent are as follows:

Preparing detailed implementation plan as per project proposal including financial cashflow.

Ensure timely and proper implementation of project activities aligned with project goal and objectives.

Represent BGS in the deferent meetings of Govt. and NGOs in the sub district level.

Ensure appropriate and transparent finance management
-
Proper implementation, reporting, finance monitoring etc. Prepare and submit monthly progress report ensuring both quantitative and qualitative aspects

Guiding and Supervisions of staff for proper and timely implementation of the project activities.

Organize and conduct regular periodical progress review meeting.

Maintaining all coordination and liaison with the BGS Central Management.

Conduct vibrant supervision and monitoring of the project implementation.

Ensure timely reporting of program and finance including additional reports as required by donor and central management.

Organize and participate in visits by donor/development partners with relevant presentations and documentations

Maintaining regular liaison and collaboration with BGS Head Office, donor, local administration like DC/UNO/Police Stations, UPs and other relevant agencies.

Manage any type of emerging crisis in the context of project locations and Humanitarian Assistance principles

Ensure adequate transparency in financial control, proper governing and monitoring to the expenditure of funds as per BGS and donor roles and regulations.

Maintain liaison with local community and different local stakeholders effectively to ensure proper implementation of the project.

Regular user of computer, e-mail & internet with skilled and confidentiality

The incumbent is expected to have excellent fluency in written and oral communication skills both Bangla and English.

If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.

Accountable about all types of works on related responsible person.

Moreover, carry out other project related duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the BGS Authority.

Additional Job Requirement: Perform any other assignment in favour of the project and organization assigned by the management.
Compensation & Other Benefits
Salary and Benefits: Consolidated monthly salary Tk. 60,000/- (Sixty Thousand) Negotiable if more qualified.
