- Monthly performance analysis and review of MIS data and provide timely feedback to the Government as well as to the appointing authority.
- Technical support for Monitoring, Evaluation, and generation of narrative reports.
- Good interpersonal skills and working in diverse teams.

Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is a Bangladeshi development organization has been working in the public health sector over 32 years and currently implementing different projects in 21 districts. With support from UNFPA, PHD is going to implement a ‘health system strengthening project’ in Noakhali District for which PHD intends to hire a competent Project Coordinator (PC) for proposed project.
Purpose of the position:
To support District Health and Family Planning Department with technical and gap filling assistances with a group of technical and non-technical staff through effective curative and preventive approaches by focusing the promotion of maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health services to increase facility delivery and to contribute to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality in the district.
To lead a team to achieve the overall goal of the project by effective and efficient implementation of the planned project activities. Incumbent will provide clear strategic and technical direction for the implementation of the project in Noakhali district and accountable to plan, implement and monitoring the project with close cooperation of the stakeholders (government, local government, and donor) and other high level government forum at district level to achieve desired results of the project.
Job Responsibilities:
Under the technical supervision of UNFPA and in collaboration with CS-Office & assigned UHCs and relevant government institutions, the Project Coordinator will undertake the following tasks:
- Lead a team of health service providers to support local health and family planning department to execute the district health plans;
- Lead the project to ensure that the project deliverables of the project produced in time with quality within stipulated scope and resources·
- Establishment/revitalize the district hospital with technical support to fill-up the gaps with necessary/available skilled staff, equipment and logistics;
- Support and mentor service providers (Medical officers, midwives and other auxiliary medical service providers with a team building manner and objective
- Work closely and in consultation with district health management and PHD senior management and field-based staff in the implementation of the interventions. Responsibilities will also include to ensure the project are implemented in accordance with the agreed contracts and budgets, and safety and security of the staffs·
- Identify the capacity gaps and providing technical assistance and capacity building to the project staff to ensure the work plan is implemented within budget and in the prescribed time period·
- Participate in meetings and reviews and undertake monitoring missions to assess progress of implementation, field monitoring visits, Health Sector coordination meetings and other relevant forums·
- Prepare monthly reports, quarterly reports and case studies and review other reports·
- Any other assignment given by the PHD Management
