Responsibilities & Context

Job description

The post of Project Engineer / Site Engineer is primarily concerned with overall implementation of the building construction from scratch to finish. All types of required activities ranging from designing, testing, approvals, constructions, follow-up, supervision, sourcing, team building, reporting and any other aspects of the projects. The Project Engineer / Site Engineer will be expected to lead the overall construction plans in due time.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of Basic Civil functions e.g. civil working drawing, Site preparation, Ground leveling, soil testing, form work, concrete foundation, building construction, special knowledge about finishing work and handling, implementing large construction projects etc.
• Ability to deal with client with smart presentation
• Should have sufficient reference of skilled contractors of various items works.
• Candidate should have ability to select contractors independently.
• Should have proper knowledge of Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost minimization, Optimal use of labor and foreman, & making working schedule.
• Managing site supervisor and labors / contractors
• Checking received materials
• Should have proper knowledge of Safety issues.
• Should have sound knowledge of Building codes.
• Shall have Good knowledge about Interior & decoration or furniture related Works.
• Shall have good knowledge to read layout plan, estimation & man power handling.
