- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.

Responsibilities & Context
Job Context: An international NGO working in the field of Integrated and Sustainable Community Development, Disaster Response, Food Security, Community Health, Peace & Justice and both emergency aid and long-term rebuilding in natural and human-caused disasters invites applications from Bangladeshi nationals for the following position for its 5 (Five) years anticipated SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) project, which aims to Enhanced enjoyment of SRHR for vulnerable adolescent and youth girls (aged 10-24) in select communities in Dinajpur and Netrokona Districts, Bangladesh.
Purpose: This position is a full-time, term contract for donor funded “SRHR:Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Health System” project, implemented in Bangladesh from 2025-2029. The project will be a comprehensive approach to advancing SRHR by going beyond health services to address gendered inequalities, discriminatory social norms, and institutional structures that limit the access of SRHR services for vulnerable adolescent and youth girls (aged 10-24).
This role will be a key player in the SRHR Bangladesh work in the successful implementation of the project, including co-developing the implementation strategy of the project including annual work plan, and providing oversight/monitoring of budget, project targets and deliverables, project learning, risk register/mitigation, and project and financial reports to funder stakeholders. The key role of the Bangladesh SRHR Project Lead is to support the partners in carrying out of the PMF and ensure work towards achieving targets in the PMF. The Project Lead will lead the partner management teams in regular meetings and annual PIP reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Bangladesh side in following the Project Design and PIP and carrying out trainings and monitoring and meetings per the project design.
- Liaison with the Global Project Manager, Senior Country Director in Bangladesh and with each implementing partner directors and team members.
- Coordinate in Bangladesh including, Bangladesh project team staff assigned in project, Global M and E, Project Teams.
- Attend meetings of the sub-team for work coordination and reporting on progress of the project and grant.
- Directly supervise the Finance Manager of SRHR project in Bangladesh and ensure Government FD 6 regulations, finance reports are done per GOB and donor guidelines.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with all members of the grants sub-team.
- Management of all compliance and responsibilities of the donor award (i.e. financial, legal, programmatic).
- Monitor, adjust, and evaluate actual project performance against the PMF indicators with project outcomes and impact; ensure timely adaptive action is taken.
- Ensure partner workshops and timelines are followed according to PIP schedule.
- Oversee baseline surveys and ensure and lead process.
- Facilitate trainings as required per activity list, and contract with trainers for subjects.
- Monitor expenditures, with explanations for project expenditure variances and ensure program and financial reporting on the donor prescribed system.
- Identify potential obstacles and risks, initiating corrective action.
- Network with alliances and partnerships in Bangladesh to make presentations about the project and do communications to the sector about project learnings.
- Lead quarterly meetings of SRHR partner leads.
- Frequent travel to each project at least quarterly and additionally as needed.
