Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
- BSc in Civil Engineering from a reputed public university (BUET, KUET, RUET, CUET)
Experience
- At least 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Real Estate, Developer
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 45 years
- Proven experience in civil operations or project management for reputed garments manufacturing unit.
- Strong knowledge and experience in AutoCAD (2D/3D) for designing and drafting.
- Proficiency in BOQ evaluation and civil estimations.
- In-depth knowledge of construction billing and verifying accuracy.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities & Context
- Lead civil projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
- Supervise BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and civil estimations for effective budgeting and planning.
- Validate construction bills to ensure compliance with approved designs and contractual terms.
- Develop and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD (2D/3D) based on project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable construction safety and environmental regulations, including RSC (RMG Sustainability Council) standards.
- Lead RSC-related structural, fire, and electrical remediation activities, ensuring compliance with buyer-specific safety protocols.
- Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up records related to RSC inspections, corrective actions, and compliance status.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth daily operations at the construction site.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve on-ground issues, and ensure consistent quality control.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and safety breaches.
- Ensure updates and progress reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Foster effective communication with regulatory bodies, clients, and internal departments to ensure transparent project execution.
