Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership & Oversight:
- Provide Direction on project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Ensure consistent application of project management methodologies, standards, and tools across all projects.
- Oversee a portfolio of projects to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders to define project scopes, priorities, and deliverables.
- Serve as the escalation point for major project issues and risks.
- Process & Quality Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes, templates, and best practices.
- Implement project governance frameworks.
- Resource & Budget Management:
- Allocate and manage resources effectively across multiple concurrent projects.
- Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Provide regular status reports and project performance metrics to executive leadership.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs for project health and project performance.
- Training & Development:
- Mentor and coach project team members in project management practices.
