Additional Requirements

Experience:

• At least 8-10 years of experience in livelihood and market development programs, preferably within agricultural and IGA development projects.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering participatory training programs for diverse audiences.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IGA practices, market systems, and sustainable production technologies.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including farmers, private sector actors, and government officials.

Other Requirements:

• Fluency in Bangla and English (both spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in rural settings.

Responsibilities & Context

Scope of Responsibilities/overall leadership:

• The Project Manager brings both strategic vision and expertise to design and implement staff capacity-building initiatives that ensure the project’s income-generating activity (IGA) and livelihood interventions effectively enhance the economic well-being of program participants. These interventions are grounded in sustainable, market-based solutions.
• The role involves liaising with key stakeholders to foster collaboration, ensuring that activities are well-integrated to drive meaningful, positive changes within the targeted communities. Additionally, the Project Manager provides ongoing support to the team, enabling them to effectively implement, evaluate, and adapt activities for increased impact and sustainability.
