• 5 years working experiences in leading, managing and implementing donor funded education project independently in accordance with project proposal.
• Advance knowledge about primary education in Bangladesh.
• Comprehensive knowledge in conducting training/workshop to capacity building of project staff, Teacher, and school community.
• Adequate knowledge in IEC material development.
• Excellent skills in team management, good planning and coordinating and presentation.
• Ensure proper supervision & monitoring for smooth implementation of the project.
• High negotiation skill with government education office and other local authority.
• Adequate knowledge in office administration.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent in teamwork, networking and communication.
• Able to develop annual plan; strong skills in resource management.
• Computer skill on MS office and power point.
• Excellent communication skill in both verbal and written in English and Bangla, capable to prepare report both of English and Bangla.
• Having strong leadership ability and motivation in working with Adivasi & Non-adivasi poor people in remote areas.
• Mandatory to drive motorcycle and have valid driving license.
• Aware and sensitive regarding gender issues and respect for diversity.

Responsibilities & Context

DASCOH Foundation is looking for a dynamic Project Manager (PM) for its “Promoting Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education in Two Rural Districts of Bangladesh (PRIORITY)” project supported by NETZ Partnership for Development and Justice. “DASCOH Foundation strongly follows ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (SHEA) and financial corruption, safeguarding policies (Child protection, adult and staff safeguard) and expects all employees to abide by the Safeguarding Policies and Code of Conduct of the organization”.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project in one district.
• Supervision and monitoring of project staff and activities from school community.
• Developing and conducting trainings and workshops for project staff and school community.
• Project documentation, reporting and compile management information.
• Coordination of monthly action plans and team meetings.
• Maintain liaison with relevant local authorities including government education offices.
• Responsible for local advocacy activities.
• Correspond with Project Director and other relevant colleagues in back-donor.
• Ensure efficient and transparent use of project budget and other resources.
• If needed crisis management.
