• Both males and females are allowed to apply
• At least 6-12 years of professional experience in national or international organizations at the management level. This experience requirement may be relaxed for those having degrees and experience in implementing project on accessing justice.
• Must be good in writing and speaking in English and Bangla, i.e. monitoring report, field visit report, event report, case study/story, press release, content writing, etc.
• Timely decision-making ability as well as multi-tasking capacity
• Strong commitment to organizational values, integrity, respect, commitment and solidarity

Responsibilities & Context

• Plan, implement, supervise, manage and coordinate all components of the project to achieve the project objectives and results.
• Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for the Helvetas SIMS project, government and other stakeholders.
• Ensure programme management and financial management functions collaboratively and in compliance with accepted standards.
• Oversee the development and execution of SIMS project deliverables, lead project planning, monitoring, budgeting, action plans and monitoring processes etc.
• Assist the project team and other stakeholders define, communicate and drive the strategic vision and goal of the programme.
• Troubleshoot project problems, launch initiatives to reduce operational costs and defects, identify and implement creative solution for smooth project management.
• Submit periodical / activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on regular basis to implementation organizations management and Helvetas SIMS project.
• Undertake Monitoring and Evaluation function as per requirement.
• Allocate sufficient time for field visit to ensure quality of field programmes through direct monitoring.
• Lead the team members and supervise their activities. Develop detail work plan of every team member and monitor their performance and report to Executive Director about the performance of the project personnel.
• Respond to all programme related donor queries during evaluation of the project by the donor agency or any third party.
• Maintain liaison with different stakeholders at the national, district and upazila level (district/ upazila department of youth development, district/ upazila department of women and child affairs, district/ upazila parishad, BMET, DEMO, TTC etc.) and other authorities working in the migration field.
• Attend various meetings at the district/upazila level and presenting the project activities before government authorities regularly.
• Any other related task assigned by RMMRU authority
