Education

At least Bachelor Degree preferably in Civil Engineering/ Architecture/ Development Studies/ Social Science/ Management/ Economics/ International Relations or any other relevant field of study from a recognized university.

Experience

  • At least 5 years

Additional Requirements

  • Around 5 years’ experience in management role in the development sector is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in humanitarian program management, preparedness and response in fragile or complex contents.

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is a non-profit faith-based organisation dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety. HFHI Bangladesh (HFHB) country office is currently looking for interested and qualified candidates for the mentioned position:

The Project Manager will be responsible for field level implementation of shelter and WASH assistance project activities in camps and host communities in Cox’s Bazar. In addition, S/he will ensure that technical relevant inputs and support are provided to field staff, Program Manager, Government partners, local & International NGOs and other stakeholders that are working in the same field or same location. S/he will also guarantee a good coordination of HFHB activities with local authorities and organizations working in camps. S/he will provide with necessary assistance to Program Manager and HFHI management team for resource mobilization and advocacy. Finally, S/he will ensure that all relevant policies and procedures with respect to child safeguarding, safety and security, code of conduct, equal opportunities and other relevant policies are in place. The post holder will play a leading role in the effective scale up and management of Rohingya response programs to increase impact and enable positive change.
