Responsibilities & Context

Life Project 4 Youth Alliance (LP4Y) is a federation consisting of 19 organizations across 14 countries. Their primary objective is to innovate solutions that facilitate the professional and social inclusion of young individuals aged between 15 to 24, particularly those experiencing extreme poverty and exclusion. LP4Y operates various programs across different centers and villages worldwide to support the inclusion of young people and their families. Among these initiatives are the Green Villages, which are specialized hubs in rural areas, focusing on tailored pedagogy and sustainable entrepreneurial training.

The Green Village in Bangladesh is specifically designed to accommodate and train 50 young women regularly over a three-month residential program. The project aims to foster sustainable development within local communities while emphasizing environmental consciousness and professional development.

LP4Y is seeking a Green Village Project Manager (Coach) for our location in Tushbhander Village, Kaliganj Upazila, Lalmonirhat Zila, Rangpur Division, Bangladesh. The Project Manager’s role involves overseeing various aspects of the Green Village, from organizational management and pedagogical guidance to community engagement and partnership development. The position requires fluency in Bengali and English, work experience in corporate or NGO sectors, basic proficiency in MS Office, professional conduct, teamwork skills, a proactive and motivated attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow.

The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly salary, housing, basic food, and travel expenses when required for project purposes. They will work approximately 40 hours per week from Sunday to Thursday, with 32 days off over a 12-month contract period, which is renewable.
