Responsibilities & Context
Gawsia Agro Ltd. is a pioneering company in fish culture and hatchery practices in Bangladesh. As a sister concern of Gawsia Group, it is committed to high-efficiency production and delivering top-quality aquatic products. We are currently seeking a competitive, experienced, smart and energetic Project Manager for our remote farm site in Rupganj.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dedicated and sincere individual who is passionate about animals and capable of overseeing comprehensive farm operations. The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing daily administrative operations.
- Supervising fish cultivation, hatchery operations, sales, and marketing.
- Managing monthly budgets and achieving financial targets.
- Monitoring daily operations, staff performance, and production.
- Ensuring timely production, sales, and distribution as per planning.
- Implementing water and environmental management for ponds.
- Assisting in hatchery operations (spawning, hatching, rearing).
- Planning and distributing feed and fertilizers.
- Monitoring fish health, administering treatments, and maintaining health records.
- Conducting regular water quality tests (potential of hydrogen- pH, temperature, Dissolved oxygen – DO, etc.).
- Maintaining detailed records of fish growth, feeding, and hatchery data.
- Performing general hatchery maintenance.
- Managing fish weighing, packaging, sale, and reporting.
- Promoting fisheries products and strengthening branding.
- Handling field sales, collection from dealers and farmers.
- Executing timely planning, product placement, liquidation, and collection.
Safeguarding:
Ensure safety and protection of team members from harm, abuse, neglect, or harassment. Serve as a key support for safeguarding initiatives and maintaining a secure working environment.
