Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Management, Demography, Social Science or any related degree from any recognized university

Experience

  • Age at most 45 years
  • At least 2-3 years of professional work experience in relevant sector in a national or international organization.
  • Having the ability to clearly translate/ elaborate data/ information to meaningful insights, comments, findings and recommendations is vital.
  • Bachelor/ Master degree in Statistics, Social Science, MIS or any other related field.
  • Having field experience in and around Disability Inclusion, Mainstreaming will be an asset.
  • Familiarity in Rohingya language is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Rohingya Response/ Humanitarian context is a huge plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Detailed Implementation Planning, Weekly & Monthly Cross Check Reports, Indicator Reporting, Activity Info, SurveyCTO, KOBO Toolbox, & Donor Reports (both narrative & quantitative) are highly desired.
  • Competent candidates with disability, female candidates, candidates from indigenous background & Intersex individuals are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Responsible for designing, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework of the Project
  • Developing a systematic monitoring framework (M&E guidance and tools) to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the Project.
  • Participate in program design and proposal discussions, including log frame design, revision of log frame as per project documents and budgeting for M&E & FCMS.
  • Prepare, cross check and submit timely reports and knowledge sharing components including but not limited to Bhasanchar Protection Weekly Report, Bhasanchar Protection Monthly Report, Monthly IPTT Report for dissemination among team members and with the Team Leaders & Management when required.
  • Prepare & support the management in submitting quarterly, monthly, annual & periodic reports to CDD Management, HI, UNHCR, Sector, GoB & any other competent authority as instructed by the Line Manager.
  • Support program staff in planning for and executing M&E, including, data collection methodology and tools and data management, analysis and use.
  • Support the implementation, dissemination and use of evaluations, assessments and monitoring data in program development, adjustment or review.
  • Contribute to organizational learning through supporting specific analysis, lessons learned and reports.
  • Supervise and coordinate data collection activities and validate field data/ activity reports to ensure quality through DQA.
  • Capacity building and training of program and operational support staff on M&E technical and conceptual areas.
  • Designing data collection instruments to monitor project outputs and track progress of all activities against monthly, quarterly and annual work plan targets.
  • Fostering participatory planning and implementation of accountability activities by training and involving community members, partners and other primary groups.
  • Ensuring dissemination of complaints handling procedures, beneficiary feedback mechanism, policies and tools as appropriate to beneficiaries, project staff and other stakeholders drawing on multiple communication channels.
  • Record and analyze data and produce monthly Feedback/Complaint reports.
  • Ensure that cross cutting issues as gender, age, ethnicity, are addressed in an adequate manner in all activity, service and/or implementation.
  • Identify lessons learned and develop case studies to capture qualitative outputs of the project
  • Developing baseline data for each project component and for all project indicators.
  • Supervise and mentor M&E support staff in executing M&E plans.
  • Contribute to the design of M&E staffing structure and resourcing, including collaboration with program staff to identify and plan for M&E needs.
  • You will also perform additional work according to the projects need and as being assigned by the Line Manager & CDD authority.

Safeguarding responsibilities:

  • Adhere to CDD’s Children and Adults at Risk Safeguarding policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of all project participants;
  • Promote a safe and secure environment for all participants and stakeholders of the project;
  • Report any safeguarding concerns promptly and follow the designated reporting procedures.
  • Additional responsibilities:
  • Perform any other responsibility/ special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

  • CDD is now accepting application for ‘Project MEAL Officer’ for the project titled “Inclusive Emergency Assistance to Crisis-affected Rohingya Population in CXB and BC, Bangladesh” which will be implemented with the support of HI. The duration of the project is till December 2025 subject to approval of the donor funding.
