Responsibilities & Context

• Client Consultation: Meeting with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Interior Site Visits: Conducting site visits to assess the space, its dimensions, and existing conditions.
• Conceptual Design: Developing initial design concepts, including floor plans, layouts, and mood boards.
• Budgeting: Creating detailed project budgets, outlining costs for materials, labor, and other expenses.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
• Space Planning: Creating efficient and functional space plans.
• Material Selection: Sourcing and selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings..
• CAD Drawings: Creating detailed CAD drawings for construction and installation purposes.
• Presentation: Presenting design concepts to clients, making necessary revisions based on feedback.
• Project Scheduling: Developing a detailed project schedule to ensure timely completion.
• Contractor Management: Hiring and managing contractors and subcontractors.
• Site Supervision: Overseeing the construction and installation process on-site.
• Quality Control: Ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Budget Management: Monitoring project expenses and making adjustments as needed.
• Client Communication: Maintaining regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
• Project Closeout: Finalizing project documentation, including as-built drawings and final payment.
• Post-Occupancy Evaluation: Conducting a post-occupancy evaluation to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
• Project Handoff: Transferring project documentation and information to the client.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
