Responsibilities & Context
Lead implementation of buyer-specific requirements, Codes of Conduct, ethics, and company policies.
Maintain strong knowledge of NEXT, George, Primark, Tesco, LIDL, and other international buyers.
Act as the focal point for buyer compliance and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
Monitor buyer requirement changes and ensure timely implementation and audit readiness.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, national laws, and international standards.
Lead buyer, social, ethical, environmental, H&S, and certification audits.
Conduct pre-audit inspections, gap assessments, and management compliance reviews.
Develop and monitor CAPs, including root-cause analysis, preventive actions, and timely closure.
Ensure timely renewal of statutory licenses, permits, certificates, and approvals.
Coordinate with EHS, Engineering, Administration, and other departments on safety and environmental compliance.
Ensure effective grievance mechanisms, worker welfare, engagement, and required committee activities.
Maintain accurate and confidential compliance records, including attendance, payroll, OT, leave, and personnel files.
Plan and conduct internal compliance audits and ensure timely closure of identified findings.
Conduct compliance training on buyer requirements, labour law, worker rights, ethics, H&S, and environmental responsibilities.
Prepare compliance reports and dashboards while escalating critical risks and driving continuous improvement.
